Nao Shibata has been working at Marubeni Corporation in Tokyo, one of the largest Sogo Shosha (a diversified trading conglomerate) in Japan. Nao has a rich background in the technology, media and telecommunications sector, gaining experience for business development, strategic acquisitions and market analysis. She has been involved in several investment and acquisition projects for the second-hand mobile industry.
Nao has also worked at NTT Docomo, the largest mobile carrier in Japan, where she was responsible for leveraging customer data for marketing business using NTT Docomo’s loyalty service, involved in launching CRM services.
Nao has an educational background from Hitotsubashi University, where she earned a Bachelor of Commerce and Management. Her leadership skills were honed as an active team member and Defense Leader of the university’s Women’s Lacrosse team.
